Upcoming Events at Bartleby’s

Bartlebly’s Books will host Brian Donelson, author of The Coming of the Train, on Saturday, December 20^th at 2pm.  His book, which was reviewed in the Deerfield Valley News’ Thanksgiving paper, covers the Hoosac Tunnel and Wilmington and Deerfield River Railroads and the industries they served.  Published in November, the book has been a runaway success with Deerfield Valley residents.  With hundreds of historical photos, papers and in-depth research, The Coming of the Train, Volume I, covers 1870 through 1910.  Donelson plans to have Volume 2 published next year. 

Donelson will be available at Bartleby’s Books starting at 2pm to sign copies of his book, answer questions and discuss his book.  People who have already purchased the book are welcome to bring it in to have it signed.  Anyone who is unable to make the event, but would like to have a book signed should call Bartleby’s Books at 802-464-5425.  Bartleby’s Books is located at 6 North Main Street in downtown Wilmington.
