Arrgh Matey! Bartleby’s Books will be hosting a Pirate Party on Saturday, July 12th, as part of the Village Stroll activities. Starting at 5pm, Bartleby’s encourages pirate lovers young and old to come in costume for refreshments and pirate shenanigans. There will be plenty of pirate books to choose from including pop-ups. Bartleby’s will offer a 20% discount during Stroll hours for those in pirate costume or strolling hats. No costume? Walk the Plank! Please contact Bartleby’s at 464-5425 for more information.

Bartleby’s Books is happy to host Dishing Up Vermont cookbook author Tracey Medeiros for a book signing and Q&A session. Tracey will be available from 1-2pm on Saturday in the Bartleby’s booth at the Vermont Life Wine and Harvest Festival. About Dishing Up Vermont: From world-renowned cheddar cheeses to the delectable dinners turned out by talented chefs, the Green Moutnain state is rich in exciting eating. Learn new ways to use maple syrup, re-create that meal you enjoyed at a a fancy restaurant, bake tree-ripened local apples into crubbly-sweet desserts, and find out how the farmers growing the tastiest micro-greens like to eat them.
